“If it is commercially viable, the rest is secondary”

Luis Moreno, co-founding partner of Ibero Capital Management, points out in the March 2020 edition of “Economics 3 – Information for Leadership” that the restriction of bank credit is “opening opportunities to help developers”.

Flexible financing, which adapts to the needs of the promoters, and which does not require preconditions.

This is how Luis Moreno, co-founder partner of Ibero Capital Management, defines the financing offered by the company. “If a project is financially and commercially viable, the rest is secondary,” he says.

Ibero Capital Management is a financing and investment management company for real estate development projects. In this context, they are dedicated to structuring the financing and supporting the developer during the construction and commercialization period.

Our purpose is to act as a partner of the promoter, assuming the project as our own and putting our extensive experience at their service for the successful end of the project,” explains Moreno. It also specifies that, in the case of direct investments, Ibero Capital Management is dedicated to fully managing each promotion, covering the technical, commercial and financial aspects. Along the same lines, Moreno highlights that the flexibility of the financing they offer is adapted “to the needs of the promoter.”

“We can finance everything from the purchase of the land to the full financing of all the costs necessary for the construction and commercialization of the project,” he explains. Once the financing is granted, it emphasizes that they do not require preconditions. “In this way, the project can start from the moment the financing is available.”

“We finance all types of projects, both residential and commercial, and we do not have restrictions on locations, but rather we cover the entire national geography. In short, if a project is financially and commercially viable, the rest of the elements –such as location or size– are secondary ”, he guarantees. The co-founding partner of Ibero Capital Management points out that, fundamentally, they are required to finance the acquisition of land and the promotion of residential projects.
