Within its first year, Íbero Capital Management reached 80 million euros of committed capital in real estate developments in Spain. In addition, it expects to sign new operations in the coming months to close 2019 with a volume of up to 250 million euros in financing.
The firm led by Walter de Luna (left of the image) and Luis Moreno (right of the image) becomes the first of its kind in Spain in terms of volume of financing and units under development, with more than 600 homes under development. Additionally, Íbero CM maintains negotiations with developers at a national and regional level, in areas of high residential development, such as the Valencian Community, Andalusia or Madrid.
For Walter de Luna, CEO of Ibero CM, “in a market in which real estate development in Spain is skyrocketing, we are seeing a growing interest from developers for alternative financing with flexible structures, such as the ones we offer in Íbero CM, compared to the traditional routes”.
For his part, Luis Moreno, general director of Íbero CM, highlights:
“We are very pleased to have reached the 80 million euros committed in just one year of activity, which goes to show not only the capacity of Íbero CM’s team to originate projects, but also to carry them out with agility and in record time”.
